Invest earlier, in ventures built to a system
The Xablu Venture Evergreen Fund invests predominantly in ventures created inside Xablu Venture Studio. We fund them from market opportunity onward, in tranches against each stage gate, alongside the team that builds the company, and we hold without a fixed end date.
Open to qualified and professional investors. The memorandum is shared following an introductory conversation.
Invested by the fund per venture, in four tranches across stages 1–4
Total capital per venture before spin-out, including co-investment alongside the fund
Standard spin-out valuation, fixed for every venture
Four reasons we believe studio-built ventures are a more rational point of entry than the open early-stage market.
Every venture is built by the same studio team on the same operating method, with a venture partner from the industry supplying the domain judgment and the first network. Repeatable execution removes a meaningful part of the failure modes that dominate early-stage loss rates.
Shared infrastructure and a shared team mean capital funds evidence rather than overhead. €500,000 carries a venture from market opportunity through first customers to spin-out readiness.
The fund takes a position in the ventures the studio produces rather than a single bet, spreading exposure across markets, cohorts and vintages.
The cooperative has no fixed term. We are not forced to sell on a fund clock, realized proceeds can be recycled into the next generation of ventures, and where the evidence justifies it we can follow a venture selectively into its independent round after spin-out rather than being diluted by default.
The studio carries ideation. The fund funds the four stages that follow, in tranches against each gate. External investors are invited at go-to-market, and the studio takes the venture through spin-out.
Xablu Venture Studio selects the thesis and staffs the team before the fund participates.
Released against stage gates, from market opportunity through go-to-market.
External investors are invited to complete the €500,000 before spin-out.
The venture is separated from the studio and prepared for an independent round.
What varies per venture is the market. What does not vary is how the venture is built and who brings the domain.
We do not pick a sector and hunt within it. Our constraint is B2B enterprise technology: software that sits in the operational core of an organization and is bought against a measurable line item. Within that constraint the studio is deliberately agnostic, because the repeatable part of the outcome is the method, not the market.
Every venture runs the same sequence, evidence and stage gates, which makes results comparable across a portfolio instead of anecdotal.
Each venture has a partner from the industry itself, bringing the operational judgment the studio cannot manufacture: what breaks in practice, and what a buyer will pay for.
First conversations, pilots and reference customers come out of an existing network rather than cold outbound, which compresses time to first revenue.
We do not build consumer products. Long contracts, verifiable value and defensible data are what make a venture financeable at spin-out.
